Booked a room with king beds and the location was fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to Sevier County Fairgrounds.

It was very hot and stuffy as soon as we walked in the building. The whole place had a terrible odor and there was no way to ventilate or open a window. The bedding and carpets seemed like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Nothing worse Hotel I have ever stayed at!
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at nothing like what it said on internet when I booked it! As soon as I walked in I wantd to leave! The staff was very very rude. The pool was over chlorinated and the hot tub was empty and not even covered very dangerous a child could easily have fallen in! The hotel claimed it was newly remodeled the only thing new was shower curtain and rod! I had a room that connected to my parents only one fridge per both room in my parents room there was electrical wires sticking out it looked as though a fire alarm or light fixture should have been there! There was 1 hot cocoa packet in my room none in my parents and when they went to ask for another packet the man at desk very hateful said that you only get one per room then we explained we only got 1 and had 2 rooms he rudely handed us 1!The contintal breakfast was something to laugh at there was toast, waffles, and 2 type of cereal. There were 2 bottles of apple juice in a sink of ice this was your choice for breakfast needless to say we ate elsewhere! This was a waste of my money I was extremely dissapointed! I would never stay thereagain!

Prior to being renamed Motel 6 we have stayed at this same facility for years. Since our last stay, perhaps one year ago, the facility has good "down hill" remarkably. There is an obvious lack of maintenance. The rooms and common areas are notably dirty. The breakfast bar, hot tub and other amenities that were a large part of our stays at your hotel now no longer exist. Motel 6 Richfield is now a cheap dirty hotel, and no longer a place for my family.

I Liked the location, especially the pastures in the back and the surrounding trees. The pool and hot tub were nice amenities.
The booking website advertised refrigerators in all rooms, and this was one reason I chose this motel. It turned out to be untrue. The lack of an elevator was a hassle with a heavy suitcase to drag upstairs.

We received a complimentary stay for one night for a previous very bad experience but when we went to redeem it at this hotel we realized we only had the letter and were never sent the voucher. We called Motel 6 Corp but were told that we had to wait for the voucher in the mail so could not redeem it for this stay. The only reason we chose Motel 6 this time was to redeem the voucher. We had to spent an extra $66 that we were not expecting to spend. We have had 2 bad experiences now with Motel 6 and really don't want to take the chance again when our voucher arrives in the mail. Also, the rate I found online was $10 less that what I actually was charged as I didn't know I had to go through Motel 6 online reservation. I would have hoped that front desk would have explained that I held the reservations through Booked.net but I could cancel and rebook online at Motel 6 and save me the $20 for 2 rooms. That combined with the voucher problem I had to pay $111 instead of $50 and then to find the place was not clean--crumbs, etc all along the bed frame and edges of carpet, smelled, hot tub not working, no shampoo, bar soap the size of a credit card and would not lather, mattress made so much noise ever time we moved I got no sleep, mold stains in the bathtub shower area, when ran water in one bathroom sink it filled up the other one and smelled causing me such frustration that I didn't even care to report all of this as it would make no difference based on past experience. I am thinking even answering this survey is a waste of my time but doing it anyway. You can leave the light on for someone else and tell Mr. Tom Bodett.

The staff were very kind and everything there was fine. Greatly enjoyed the king room and the way it was set up. - the hotel's location was favorable, just off the city center as well as a business park.

When I walked into the hotel - the man running it sat in the chair 3 feet behind the desk watching tv and took absolutely no time to greet me or even say hi, I had to ask - can you help me! The lobby smelled strong and over powering of Indian food and spices. I am a chef so I know the distinct over powering smell this can create. The top bed spread was disgusting, pulled it right off the bed and the sheets smelled musty. The light was out in the bathroom/sink area above the sink outside the bathroom. To save money there was only a half used roll of toilet paper and no other roll in the holder that held two rolls. The bathroom had molded tiles that were missing grout and falling out. The windows looking out to the horse pasture were all cloudy and not cleaned in years. The jacuzzi/hot tub was broken but when I logged online there was no mention of that in the ad. When We left I am the one that had to say thank you and the husband and wife replied "uh-huh" ?? Pretty poor experience
